WHAT IS THE APEDA REGISTRATION PROCEDURE IN INDIA?
Step 1: Visit the APEDA website and register for a license >>> On the Home Page, click the “Register as Member” button.
Step 2: Fill in the details; The exporter must fill in the essential information such as the Internet Explorer (IE) code, email address, and phone number >>> Click the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 3: Verification of E-mail address and Phone number; An OTP will be given to the registered email and mobile number to confirm the details. After filling out the OTP information, click “Submit.”
Step 4: Document upload; The next step is to upload the documents online after they have been successfully verified. These documents must only be in JPEG, PDF, or PNG format.
Step 5: Payment methods: The exporter has the option to pay via. Any of the following modes can be used:-
- (MasterCard/Visa) credit card
- (Visa/MasterCard) Debit Card
- Payable to any of the APEDA registered offices, Demand draft in favor of “APEDA.”

Step 7: The RCMC is issued, and the exporter’s login information is emailed to the e-mail address on file. The exporter can log in to the account using these data by clicking the “Exporter Login” link in the top right corner of the APEDA website.
Step 8: Status of RCMC application: The exporter can view the status of the RCMC application by clicking the “Track Application” link and entering the Import-Export Code and Application Reference Number until it is issued.
Step 9: If any flaws are discovered during the APEDA registration process in India, the paperwork must be resubmitted online. As a result, the exporter must keep track of the status of its RCMC application.
